NATO and Lithuania – the complete fiasco of NATO

15 01 2007

Lithuania has only recently joined NATO; however, NATO soldiers have already proved themselves as cowardly wretches there.

NATO is trying hard to maintain an impeccable public image

The adverts, researches and media campaigns paid by NATO or the governments of its members depict NATO not only as the best armed military organisation that can afford to bomb any country in the world.

‘Why did you assault them yourselves?’ – An officer is questioning ten NATO soldiers, beaten at night by three Lithuanian guys.

‘We thought that there were only two of them, and then unexpectedly appeared the third one’.

Anecdote

The personnel of NATO are always shown as gallant, disciplined and, first of all, brave soldiers that are fearlessly defending the ‘western ideals’.

NATO soldiers are not so brave on the battlefield

All the recent NATO operations left the world with the impression that NATO ‘warriors’ behave boldly only in front of TV cameras. They never enter a fight unless they have a decisive advantage over their enemies. Otherwise, even in the roles of so-called ‘peace-keepers’, they quietly watch slaughters of unarmed civilians, hiding themselves comfortably somewhere.

Lately, NATO has been evading any direct fight at any price. During its campaigns in Yugoslavia and Afghanistan, NATO applied in fact only massive air attacks; thus, security of NATO military personnel was bought at the expense of the lives of tens of thousands of peaceful civilians.

Also in Iraq, the American and British punitive brigades dare to attack only those divisions of Iraq’s Resistance which are much weaker than themselves. Most of their military operations, during which the defenders of non-submissive regions are slaughtered along with unarmed civilians by deploying heavy and even chemical weapons, remind so much of the counterinsurgency measures of Saddam Hussein.

In Lithuania, NATO militaries have become famous as extraordinary cowards

Lithuania joined NATO only in 2004, but the rumours about the astonishing cowardice of NATO military personnel have already passed into legend.

question

Which description fits NATO militaries better in your opinion?

Brave liberators

Coward killers

NATO soldiers and officers have been periodically beaten in the main place of their deployment in Lithuania – Šiauliai. It is considered absolutely normal, so beating a couple of NATO ‘warriors’ can soon become a duty of honour for certain Lithuanian social groups.

There is a rumour that one ordinary Lithuanian guy can easily deal with as many as four NATO soldiers looking for untraditional (in Lithuanian terms) pleasures at night. As proven by the hooliganism of US military officers in the autumn of 2005, two NATO warriors can get scared when they face only one unarmed man and feel they must resort to their weapons, which they obviously never leave in their barracks in Lithuania.

NATO planes did not even dare to take off when a Russian fighter had invaded Lithuanian air space

A Russian military plane entered Lithuanian air space in the autumn of 2005. There was a big political turmoil; however, none of the NATO pilots, deployed in Lithuania, risked even to accompany it at a safe distance.

Apparently, even four NATO fighters do not dare to challenge a single Russian fighter.

Lithuania has built up an image of NATO that is quite different from the one depicted by official propaganda

Having in mind how cynically the armed forces of NATO slaughter the citizens of inconvenient countries and all the massacres, plunders and tortures in Iraq, Afghanistan, Gvantanamo Bay, etc., Lithuanians consider NATO in a way that perhaps does not correspond to the image promoted by all the propagandists working on NATO’s public image.

To me, NATO looks criminal and revolting. And for you?
